layoffs

 It is not great to work for a tech company now. Sadly, the technology layoff season is upon us, Please tell me... that I am wrong. Often, we do notice that high tech = low pay.

computers

 Ah yes, computers are often evil in science fiction movies. However, these are often long on fiction and short on science. I still remember HAL9000 saying "I'm sorry DAVE!", but what does that even mean? Fellow colleagues, we do find our artificial intelligence research to be rather um worrisome.

light hill report

OK, so the light hill report was supposed to completely destroy artificial intelligence, but here we are. Folks, we do live in a new era. People are more comfortable with thinking machines and robots now. Still, there are some... that fear robots because they have seen... like way too many science fiction movies.

drone delivery

 Ah yes, drone delivery is the future, but that is what they said last year. Maybe, they were so wrong. Here we are now.

massive recession

 Folks, we could be moving into a massive recession. Economist do warn us... that it might be long or severe. Yeah, it could be both even. This news seems so worrisome. Do hope that we are wrong once more.

mammals

 Scientists claim that dinosaurs fell and that helped mammals rise. Well, just let us say that we are not so sure. Certainly, this is an eerie universe we are in. Like can you imagine a Trex survives... that was wise enough to beat us? Funny, dinosaurs do not seem so wise.

strategy

 The tried-and-true investment strategy don't work no more. People are being forced to continue to work as there is little money to retire on. In fact, we see that the social security system will have trouble in coming years. Expect to see little if any money from your company pension.
