Gold

 Gold is finally over two thousand dollars per ounce. Well, that is great news. Especially true if you have some gold coins. Those tend to be a store of value over many years. Basically, the key is to remember that we cannot eat metals that are so precious.

housing bubble

 Oh wow, the housing bubble really is over. Yeah, just look at home prices now. Basically, they are going in a downward direction as we can see. Hey, that fact should never amaze us. After all, we do remember that what goes up... can come DOWN!

asteroid

 Oh wow, an asteroid will pass between planet earth and our moon. This celestial or heavenly body is massive. Folks, this news is worrisome. I do hope it does not hurt us. Yeah, that would make a lot of our little problems just fade away.

Retail stores

 Retail stores are closing all over. People are getting used to ordering online now. Hey, we can thank the pandemic for that one. Frankly, the winner is amazon. Sadly, the mall does feel like a ghost town now.

Floppy disks

Floppy disks refuse to die on us. Yeah, these technological objects are still around after all these years. Old tech is still going strong, but shortages can occur. Let us hope that the PC can survive. PC means a personal computer, but there we are now.

yellow submarine

I love music. Actually, we see that yellow submarine is one of my favorite songs. This catchy tune does hearken to a prior era. Yeah, one that seems so nice. Still, there were some troubles, but it felt more upbeat for some reason.

Raquel Welch

 Raquel Welch is gone. She was once a beautiful woman. Basically, we do not know when our last day is. Yeah, we often do not know what tomorrow will bring us.

McDonald's

 McDonald's see a price increase. Still, we do know that retail sales are going up. This is despite inflation that can soar.  What is wrong with our scene? Here we are no so sure. 

search engine

 OK, so Microsoft has a new AI-Powered Bing Chat search engine. The future is wow. Great things are coming now. Well, that is my opinion anyway. Do hope that people can enjoy this preriod of technological expansion.

data centers

 Oh wow, data centers are popping up all over. They are thirsty for more power. Like we do need to rein em in. I do not know what the answer is. Maybe, there are no answers... let us hope that we are wrong once more.

Google

 Google faces a difficult year. 2023 is no walk in the park as we see. AI is so worrisome. It could remove... like the very need for having a search engine. Expect more jobs cuts in coming years. People need to realize that the world we live in is not an easy one. Best that we keep both of our eyes open.

picnic

 I like to go out into nature and have a picnic. This is a great activity in an awesome summer. However, not so hot in winter as there is some snow. Well, it is also a lot of fun in a new spring. Yeah, we do indeed miss summer. Well, that is what we see.

Friend

 There is a tiny town in Nebraska called Friend - wow. Well, I do not have a friend in friend as we see. Actually there is not a lot going on. Hey, at one time, Friend has the smallest police station in the world which I believe was a tool shed once. Brothers and sisters we cannot make this stuff up. Yeah, it is just too crazy insane.

 Please do listen to this sad song. It is how many of us feel now. Frankly, a lot of what is going on... like it no longer amazes us.
