Keystone Predictions are similar to a keystone species. If you remove it a collapse occurs. For example, I predicted the march of digital over analog many years ago. This depended on the internet becoming max pop. Take out the internet and the keystone predictions collapse like a house of cards even. Maybe this is why there are so important to us. People need accuracy. Forecasts have to be spot on. However, lose a keystone prediction and all your forecast are way off the bulls eye. That is why we try so hard to see which factors are going to be prime.
